Blogging for me has gone on the back burner for a little while as I have been quite busy doing some makeup for selective shoots, many weddings and mostly running The Studio by MikaDoesMakeup! I promise I will keep updating my blogs as much as possible… although it is extremely tough to stay up to date with all the events as they happen.

The pics above are from a shoot from about a month ago with one of my favorite photographers (David Dolsen) and a model whom I have wanted to shoot with for quite some time (Kate Calnin). Leah, one of The Studio’s talented hair stylists (also a mua) did Kate’s hair, while I did the makeup for this elegant style of photoshoot with designer Frederick Fung’s  pieces for Kate to model. Every time I get together with David, we create magic. His photos are amazing, clean and crisp. Bright, fresh and stunning. He is a perfectionist. Below is a picture of Kate’s hair (by Leah).
