Beach photoshoot with model Klara and photographer David Dolsen

Klara was our model for photographer David Dolsen’s beach concept shoot at the end of Summer. She has beautiful light skin and large piercing green eyes… so for the makeup I used an Eminence Organics Tropical Vanilla Sun Cream, then a MAC skin primer for foundation prep. I then applied concealer to any uneven tones and airbrushed her colour of foundation all over her face and neck, avoiding her eye area. I used MAC’s paint pot in Painterly to prep her eyelids and mainly a burgandy shadow well blended with many light shades to soften the colour. Her skin was then sunkissed with an Eminence skin illuminator, her cheeks a peachy blush, her eyes enhanced with thick false strip eyelashes then finished off with a light lip gloss. Photographer David Dolsen chose Sunset Beach at English Bay in Vancouver for the background of the photoshoot. Stylist Joanna Keller threw a braid in Klara’s hair as well as put together the funky outfits with help from her partner store, MintageVintage.
